aj004 : We have a provider here that is fiber to the basement using 2 pairs of fiber connected to docsis 1.0 equipment to the apartments over coaxial.

My Cablemodem has 10000 T3 timeouts and 1000 loss of sync within a month period. This is not normal and my connection is very problematic.

Cableprovider refuses to admit issue saying all signal levels are fine and customer service is a joke. They laid off hundreds of employees and cut back on service levels.

What good is Fiber to the building if the transport mechanism and equipment arent maintained right? How fustrating.
