NYR11 : Just want to update to say I bought a DVI cable today($20@Bestbuy) and do see a difference in picture quality. Text does seem clearer and absolutely no noise noticeable in darker areas of the screen. By the way the monitor that I purchased is a Gateway 1975W widescreen 19" model. I usually make my computer goodies purchases using Newegg. However, I bought this at Compusa. I thought the price was really good. $229-$50 instant rebate=$179-$20 mail-in rebate=final price of $159. Not bad for a 19" widescreen. :)
--
"It's a nice day if you wake up in Disneyland"
