 | 608k or 384k in bay area? The chart here quotes 608k max speed for the $49 rate in SF bay area, but InReach's web page quotes 384k max. What's the real maximum? And, what does it mean for the real world? (I'm stuck at the minimum 128k (see my review), so I'm wondering whether anyone gets better than 384k). |
Anon | The web site was outdated for a short time. 608k is the max speed for the $49/mo rate in the Bay Area (and Sac, LA, etc). The minimum speed is 128k. The rate you get depends on your distance from the CO, and will be anywhere between 128 and 608. |
