The only reason they are doing the investigation is to pull a UN and act like they actually have some kind of duty to do so. It'll still end up being inaction. Like the UN in general...

There will be action

The reason I voted for action is that the telcos forgot a fundamental law of politics here. Don't make those in power look bad. Note how everyone who votes inaction thinks the FCC Commissioners are ineffective, incompetent, crooked, or just puppets. This isn't an issue where there are honest differences of opinion, Verizon and BellSouth stepped in some deep stuff this time.
