fmtek : yeah CCHHEETT ... there is a button on the headsets.. usually in the middle of the phone, so you can ANSWER and HANGUP... plus, with bluetooth, you can be about 30 feet away from the actualy phone and still have a connection..

on the motorola headsets.. there are usually 3 buttons: 1 on top, 1 on bottom, and 1 in middle.

Top and Bottom control the volume and middle answers and hangs up...

so the situation you are describing, would be perfect for a bluetooth headset.. only thing is you will have to get up to see who is calling (if you want to know)... but there are also headsets that have a caller id screen on them...
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">

Wireless Bluetooth headsets ?

cchheett : I have a Motorola v551 phone and I know its bluetooth but I don't really Know how a wireless headset would work if i bought one..At my new job I have bad reception and the antenna bars on my phone go to 1 to 2 bars sometimes and the phone cuts out for a second.I notice if i place the phone in this one spot the bars stay at 3 all the time.I'm wondering if i got a bluetooth wireless headset if this would fix the cutting out that is happening.I'm not sure how a person answers the phone with one of those in there ear.Is there a button on the side of the headset that pics up the call?.I don't know much about bluetooth but I really need to hear my calls better when my boss calls.I'm In a part of town for a few months so switching providers isn't an option.My phone works great except when go far out of town where I have to work for a while.Thanks for any info
--
Giganews + A.B.MMA= :)
