Also...Queens is still having issues - Eastern Queens, that is. Lots of Packet Loss tonight. So much for Tier 3 resolving the issues by Monday, eh? Hmm...

Fresh Meadows, NY | A while ago. If your upload is over 400k, you're upgraded...although who knows? I have heard so many different explanations as to how they've done it that I can't trust anything except what I have on my own modem. And right now, I'm capped to 5,300kbps down and 478kbps up. I should be 7000kbps down and 512kbps up. When speeds were 2mbps down and 384kbs up, I would get about 2,100kbps down and 360kbps up, so it's odd...but there are issues....
for the zillionth time, I hope...

| Unfortunately no I'm just VERY interested if they will give me a boost as well.They can keep me at 8mb's down but I want some more upload speed.Probably sounds like a broken record around here "Gimme more upload speed" lol.Oh well Can't blame me for the price I pay. |

Fresh Meadows, NY | Yeah..I can't setup any servers...gaming, FTP, or others that are too functional until I get more upload speed. But upload speed is the potential bottleneck they fear. Dunno anything.

I mean what's the use of paying $20 extra for 8mb's instead of 7?
They either have to give us an upgrade or terminate the Premium package because I for one (and I'm sure most others) will not wait more than one billing cycle to downgrade to standard service. |

| Definetly coming! Many planned maintances for the days coming, and somehow when TWCNYC is fully upgraded, I think the issues with Queens will go away.

But in the meantime, they really did not manage our expectations. And to be fair, the service has been pretty bad for the past month and a half...for those in parts of Queens.

| Yes it has been bad.In any case I have just "downgraded". if you can call minus 1mb and minus $20 a month a downgrade.My speed has just been tested at 7/512.
If by chance Premium gets a decent upload boost I will think about going back to it but for now I can't complain about saving $20 a month on my internet. |

Fresh Meadows, NY | Just make sure you call it in, get a ticket number, and call back when it's over for a COMPLETE refund for the days it was out. Track it carefully. Demand the credit.
If you don't open a ticket, they probably will not credit you. You need a TWC guy at your home checking things and confirming the problem is NOT in your home, otherwise, they just won't credit you.
