Re: DI-624 c - NEW FIRMWARE 2.75b2

2.76b5 now running for 3 days. No problems connecting with Atheros wireless card and Intel 2200BG + 2 wired clients.

My wireless PC can ping wired hosts and there is no difference with or without UPNP enabled.
I'm not running P2P.

Seems to be a stable firmware for me.

Just installed this firmware 2nite, its seems good so far very stable. Will see if I get anymore d/c on msn as the weekend goes by.Also for the Post above about the MSN disconnects was just that not internet also no reboots in log. The good thing about this firmware is your saved 2.75 config will work if u load it.

Revision C3 Also no-ip.com DDNS works in this firmware

So.....
i use the di 624 just as access point.
Can anyone tell me the right firmware and configuration to play well without reboot or FREEZE 1-2 times in the day?
there are 2 clients with 3com , and the better uptime tha i had was 2 days!!!!
Maybe the solution is to buy a Linksys and solve everythink............

(BTW , is in the roof , POE , and there is no easy way to hard reboot. Any ideas and solution?

(1) Try the latest firmware
(2) Turn off Auto Channel Select and choose a clear channel (usually 1 or 11).
(3) Turn off SuperG mode
(4) Turn off Extended Range
(5) Do not use WPA2 or WPA2-Auto (WPA is OK)
(6) Set the WAN port to PPPoE with a dummy address
(7) Set the Time interval to 72 hours, do not put in a NTP server address, and turn off Automatic time check (use Manual)
(8) Enable UPNP

Also, if it gets hot, you will probably need a heatsink on the Atheros chip, or some other form of cooling. There are many posts on that topic.
