Fresh Meadows, NY | 10/1 - not in NYC As far as I know, the new standard rate in NYC will be 7MBs down and 512kbps up. I WISh it would goto 10/1 or 10/2 like Cablevision customers are getting. That, at least, would compete directly with FIOS and RR's better network backbone would make them the best choice for broadband. Unfortunately, it looks like that's not going to happen.
And, of course, NO one at Time Warner seems to be making any announcements, but the rumors are that there is an upgrade in progress, there are problems, and that it all should be completed in NYC by mid-September. Hmm...
