kudos:1 | There is probably a setting in the BIOS. If not, then just mute it from wtihin Windows' volcume control panel. Most likely there is no microphone built into the computer.

Yeah, I know them RTFM are some pretty slippery critters... Kinda like hunting snipes...
Ask your boyfriend to blast your computer with a shotgun because "IT IS DANGEROUS TO YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE ON THE INTERNET!!!"
If you don't have a boyfriend, maybe your dad will do it for you... Just in case your affliction is hereditary, tell your dad the hole at the end of the shotgun points AWAY FROM HIS HEAD!!!
