Maybe you haven't downloaded shows in a long time, but a good xvid/mpeg4 rip of an HD show is FAR from "crappy quality"... Infact, I had people thinking I was watching a DVD more than a few times.

Just look at all the people on it and how many views popular videos get there, that is proof that people like online video.
