Last time we had a real emergency here the celphones were all jammed. They were even anouncing on the radio for people to stop trying to use their celphones because the police and fire departments need them, my POTS line worked fine and there was plenty of circuits avaialble. During the huge power otage here, I couldn't get through via landline, but my cell phone worked perfectly. Just because it goes one way one time, doesn't mean it'll always be that way. |
