Most of these stores will pricematch (some even with a 10% of the difference credit.) Have been having intermittent drops the past 3 weeks or so. This morning I jump on-line and within 30 minutes 5-6 dropped connections. Watching all lights except power go off. Go to walmart bestbuy or circuit city and pick up a motorola Surfboard(tm) 5120. its a workhorse of a modem.

as for the ghosting that is a signal level issue. if you have RG59[skinny cable], chuck that and replace it with RG6[thicker cable]
