Thank you for the list! I did not know there are only few states that don't charge taxes on VOIP. Yeah, Georgia is one of them! Hope it will stay this way forever!

Just got my new bill and was charged for 2 new taxes..

- VOIP TAX
- SALES TAX

I'm in Atlanta, GA... Since when do Georgians get hit with all these taxes??

My Vonage bill went up nearly $4 this month on taxes alone.

I've got the $24.99 Unlimited Service and 2 virtual numbers. No international cslls or add ons at all.

My total bill was nearly $43.00 including almost $9 IN TAX.

WOW -- And I thought BellSouth was bad with taxes.

I must say, as a Vonage customer for almost 3 years, I'm SHOCKED!!

You are right, themew! I just checked my bill, and there is Sales Tax!

Residential Basic 500 for (23/Oct-22/Nov) $14.99
International Calls (23/Sep-22/Oct) $0.20
Regulatory Recovery Fee $0.99
Emergency 911 Cost Recovery $0.99
Sales Tax $1.19
Federal Universal Service Surcharge $0.91
Total Amount $19.27

I am also shocked! I think I did not get any notice about the tax!
