 | Rupert pulling out means Sat TV in for tough times If Murdoch is pulling out of the satellite TV business, it means he doesn't see any future growth and profits in it. And that is bad news for DirecTV and Dish Network. Because if Murdoch is good at one thing, it is knowing where money can be made. And, at least in his opinion, the Sat TV business doesn't have any more growth potential. I guess he was getting worried by the telcos(especially Verizon) getting into the TV business. -- -- Join Red Room Forum BLOG tkjunkmail.blogspot.com My Web Page |

Agreed.....it is going to be hard for Sat providers to 'run with the big dogs' as far as service offerings, especially with telco fiber (Verizon, et. al.) enabling the providers to do video themselves instead of having to partner with Satellite. Satellite is basically going to end up as the last option for rural users out of range of cable providers and areas where the incumbents will not roll out fiber or other broadband options... |

I ask a simple question, and no one can give me an answer. Surely you people could give me a single example of FOX News lying about a news piece from a network which supposedly lies about everything all the time. -- Only SHATNER is Kirk. |
