join:2005-01-03 | Aren't they all? Even our (at least in my neck of the woods) local news networks can't report accurate facts. Just this week I saw a report on our local NBC affiliate talking about a police crackdown on a particular traffic law. They didn't bother to even quote the law, and only gave a factually incorrect paraphrasing of it. I looked up the law on my state legislature's web site, and found them to be quite wrong.
In my experience, the only news source I can trust is my local newspaper, and I am sure not all of those are trustworthy, either. But at least when a newspaper prints an error, they usually have the decency to correct it in their next issue.
