Depends on your point of view. iTV is probably not the bridge that most are hoping for. iTV is a way to sell iTunes content (music, videos, games?) and make that and your own authored content easily accessible on your TV. That's it. The product will do you no good if you currently consume all of your content via "free" over-the-air broadcasts (NTSC or ATSC) or via cable TV... unless you're capturing that data with a separate PVR-like device.
