Of course the LCD, and various other features are not directly supported as under Windows. There is a driver being worked on for that here:

I've done some searching and someone made a package to support the keyboard I installed it and it's installed but how do I get the keyboard to work, the keyboard isn't listed in the keyboards that are usable I'm confused on what I should do!

Thanks for any and all help I'm still new to 'nix so I'm trying to learn sorry if this is a really noob question I hate having to use another keyboard on top of my usual keyboard.
