 Nuts join:2006-04-27 Forest, OH | I've been asking them for months now, what it would take to get them to run cable 1.8 miles down my road to my house. I don't get any answer back from them. |

1 edit | reply to i1me2ao Okay, maybe I missed a post that answers this, either in this one or any others that have popped up from time to time. But, why is everyone going after Google, or any other content provider like Ebay, Yahoo, ect. These companies already PAY big money for their access to the Internet, by whatever means they use. Why should they have to also pay MORE to anyone (Verizon, Time Warner, ATT, or whoever else is greedy.) for something they already paid for. The cable and telcos have nor right to charge more from Google, just because they are popular. |

 | because twc and others did not pay attention to a joke of a company and now that joke is making a profit..
joke= google |

If it is a Mom and Pop outfit with a few hits a month, or a huge outfit like Google, THE COMPANY PAYS FOR ITS ACCESS TO THE INTERNET. So why do they have to pay more just because they are popular? Google already paid for with thier OC connetion or whatever. |

 | reply to Nuts Yes, not long ago Time Warner wanted to make a big stink about the telcos not having universal broadband availability but they won't run a cable to your home. Sounds about right. |

 | reply to Dominokat psst Somewhere along the line people forgot that they could use any search engine they want to. *shrugs* Those of you who're bitching 'bout Google -- I sure hope you use another set of services if you're so displeased with 'em. |
