Verizon did all the ground work in my subdivision in late July/early Aug. The "ground work" included running the conduit, running the cable and even splitting up the cable to be able to feed individual connection (done in the junction box just outside my backyard). This splitting was done by a Verizon guy who had a TV to make sure that the individual feeds work: I know because I talked to him while he was working on it (at 7:00 am in the morning ;-).

All this was back in early Aug...its late Oct now and I ma still waiting...

You are correct. For the area "near Belmont Greene" would that be Belmont Country Club? If so, don't hold your breath on getting FiOS. The community is in a long term exclusive agreement with Adelphia (to be Comcast in November).
