MSN list GONE

I just signed onto MSN and its like I never have used the account. EVERYTHING is gone. My nic is back to my email address, my list is totally empty. Problem @ MSN? I saw another post elsehere posted today (OCT 6) with the same problem. WHats going on?

It's an issue that comes up every so often.

Go to the sign-in screen (where it asks for your password) and hold down CTRL+SHIFT+F9 all at once (the same way you would with CTRL+ALT+DELETE). Then sign in as normal and give it a good 5-10 minutes just sitting there.

This will force the MSN software on your computer to synchronize with the MSN server and re-download your account info.

After it's been a while sign out and sign back in. Should be back to normal.

What exactly is missing that you are used to seeing when you sign in?

ie. Are you missing emails? if so, login to hotmail.com and see if they are missing at hotmail.

its a passport account so no hotmail address book

I see. Well, passport.net is a bit different. I've never heard of a passport account losing all info. There's not much to a passport.net account though. Can't you just update all the info again?
