vinnie97 : Beat this: It took them almost 2 months to finally port my DSL and # to their LPV service (however, they made sure to ship the modem just 4 to 5 days before the service was activated and now I understand why after reading the above policy) ...if not for recent outages experienced, I'd be a happy camper in spite of said delay.

DsXsD : i think neither. i think it's the day you call in for the cancellation and you ask for the confirmation cancellation number and the rep's name then upon receiving their return label or printed out, you'll have a week to ship everything back or otherwise you will be charged. this is to my best understanding.

most_known : OK im getting tired of EL service, ever since i signed up with EL i have had nothin but problems. speeds of 270kbps on a 6mbps connection.

I looked at the the agreement and it said if i return the equipment 30days after the equipment is shipped, how does that work. If i call can cancel they have to send me a lable so that i can send it back. thats takes x amout of days to get to me and after i get it i will have to ship it back to them thats another x amount of days. so what if i get the lable and send it back to them before 30 days are up but it dont arrive to after the 30 days so does that mean im in bad luck. or does it go by the post date?
