so my school internet is fast. real fast. this one computer tech guy told me that there is a way to boost your internet speed up to t1 and sometimes t2, but for some reason i cant find out how to do it. he gave me some information like using a system called tunnel tornado or something and using tcp/ip manipulation. also bittorrent doesnt work and he said something by downloading torrents through a http protocol. but i am so lost. any ideas anyone?
I am slightly confused by your question. I am assuming that you can do "something" to boost your internet connection up to T1 and T2-like speeds and you are interested in getting "faster" speeds by tunneling through the HTTP ports? -- Ed - »www.elitehosts.com
reply to wheee1 i checked the speed and it was about T1 i thnk..but they also blocked out bittorrent and also if im downloading from a site it avgs 100kbs to 200 kbs....but some guy said he tricked the system and got it up to T2..consistently, but he couldnt tell me because he works for resnet
