Whether or not Comcast ran a technician in question through their 'rigorous' training, any individual doing the work for Comcast is a representation of Comcast. They made sure the contractor fired him. In the US, getting bad employees is a foregone occurrence. Don't blame the school system when probably 85% of the problem starts at home.

I would also completely agree, and could go higher than 85%, but I wasn't about to start directly pointing fingers and starting the flame war considering that's not really the topic. The anti-teacher crowd lurks among us.
I mean, haven't you heard, school is just a gov't funded daycare to a lot of parents, from what I've seen. -- ....where's my fiber?

| | | | Blame parents that never go to PTA meetings and such and think schools should teach their dumb kids everything.
"My son is an honor student at ..." bumper stickers tick me off.
Why not: "My kid is a totally idiot at ..." bumper stickers.
Parents don't attend PTA meetings, but they certainly beg for money at stores for their kids sports teams and cheerleading outfits.
