Also the message says that proper service of the suit never occurred (ie: The notice never occurred since the mail was returned to the plaintiff's lawyer instead of being delivered to the defendant). Thus the defendant had no reason to know when to show up (this was also stated in the article as one of the reasons she did not show up). |

 | reply to rachelsfx You mean the defended posted her opinion about the plaintiff on a site based on her experience with her. Last time I checked that was free speech. Just like you can stand outside of a retail store that wronged you and you can blast them and the management all you want, provided of course it is based on true information.
The article did not give much detail as to why this started, but why she was unable to attend was clear (Katrina Victim that was displaced) and there should of been a motion to extend the trail. |
