| Boo Hoo If you expect your version of the circumstances to be heard, you must be in court to tell your story and defend your position. As the accused learned, Slander is not only a prosecutable offense, it is an expensive regret.
Years ago I read a comment in Ann Landers well worth remembering. I was something like this: "You are the master of the unspoken word, Once it is spoken, you are its slave."
Too bad the accused woman didn't know this before she uttered her words.
