anon : Hey guys i just wanted to post some info.. on the drivers for my DWL G520 addin card.

Ive just recently installed Vista to give it a try and lucky for me i had no problems with the install but it did take some time to install.

Good news is it didnt need any other drivers except my raid drivers. The default drivers it found for my DWL G520 were from Atheros Communications INC. I know alot of people here have been using them but ive always kept to Dlink drivers. Now for the good part of my story. Under windows XP the bars that i had been getting from the Dlink 624 are 2 bars. I figured it was because im upstairs and its expected. Under Windows Vista however the Bar was raised to 3 bars. Wow i thought thats odd maybe Vista handles the drivers better. It gets better... tonight there was a windows update for the Atheros Communications driver on windows update and i opped to update. The updated drivers are showing up as 7.1.0.90 Atheros Communications Inc. 11/10/06. The best news is that i have all my bars at 100%. Im still running WEP and have the router at default settings. So it seems to me that my connection with these new drivers are better.

J
