1 edit | DOESN'T MATTER. Sorry but they are wasting their time. The people getting movies off torrents want free not cheap. The vast majority of torrent users don't want to pay. The should concentrate on making it easier to get good quality movies ,easily online for a decent price for mom/pop and forget about torrent users. There is nothing they can do to please them unless it starts with FREE.

Maineville, OH | You fail to realize that people no longer place value in music, movies, etc. . No differently than Web Page construction. There is no value in the creativity of people who generate artwork and the like for websites. It is now a commodity, and people will not pay money for something that holds no value to them. Sorry if you don't like it, but it is what it is. these companies need to adapt to the commoditized services business, and charge accordingly, or fail.
Go look at how much a pre-constructed web page goes for. People USED to make a lot of money doing that. Those days are gone, and that sucks to be them. Move on or die.

What these guys are doing is the music, software, communication and media equivalent of trying to stuff the genie back in the bottle.
The genie is out of the bottle. In the long run, there is nothing anybody can do about stopping this. Candlemakers guild sues the inventor of the lightbulb. But eventually, it will reach a conclusion of *AA business model does not work.
All they cna do is slow it down. There is no stopping information in the information age. Scream crime, pirating, stealing. It matters not. The reality on the ground is as puritan described it - there is no way to turn this one back. |

If you compare torrent use to sales you will find sales win by a large margin. That includes many torrent users who buy movies and movie in spite of getting it for free via download. The try before you buy crowd is bigger than you think. |

Feel free to look for those facts on your own, really doesn't make a difference if you question my opinion or not.
