I do appreciate it.

Regards,
Robert

Windows ME connection issue

barada : Hello,

I just helped some friends get connected to Earthlink DSL. The main computer (windows XP) is attached via Cat-5 ethernet cable to a Linksys wireless router. They are using the ZyXel modem in bridge mode. Everything works fine until I try to get their second computer (Window ME) to connect to the internet.

I can "see" the linksys router from the ME computer (via browser), but when I try to get out to the internet, I get the dnserror.html page. I figured it might be that I needed to define the DNS servers, so I did that. However, that didn't seem to help any.

Can anyone help me configure the Windows ME machine to access the internet.

Thanks,
Robert
