I believe the mentality of gay = pedo stems from church teachings. At least it was mine (Baptist) when I grew up in that environment. I was taught (and at the time, naturally being young, believed) that if a man or woman is gay, they are sexual deviants that will rape children.
Then I started thinking for myself.
