| Kaui trip Just got back from a week in Kapaa Kaui, & loved it.
Found a new idea for food in Hanalei at a place called Polynesian Cafe: seems they wanted to open a nice white linen restaurant but the town would not give them permits for a dishwasher. They responded by opening anyway and served gourmet food on paper plates. You order the food at the counter, they give you a electronic coaster and beep you when the food is ready. Great seared ahi meal for less than $16. |
