[Help] What Type of Oil to Use in a 1994 Nissan Sentra?I have a friend who has a 1994 Nissan Sentra and wants to know what type of oil to use in that make/model. I tried searching the web, but couldn't come up with anything that could help. Would anyone here have any idea what type of oil to use in this car? Thanks. |

The oil cap will probably say either 5W20 or 5W30 on it, but being a 1994 Sentra, it probably has too many miles on it to put oil that light. If the car has under a 100,000 miles, I would recommend 10W30, if its between 100-200K, then 10w40.
For vehicles with over 200,000 miles, I'd recommend 20w50. |

Should be 5W-30/10W-30 depending on expected temp, AFAIK no Nissans of those years used 5W-20, and none do now. |
