Mele20 : A big MAHALO for the changes you have made on the advanced search page! I'm not sure exactly when you made the changes as I used to avoid searching (unless I really needed to) because that page was cluttered and hard for me to find the forum I wanted to search in so I haven't used it in awhile. Reading the current posts in this thread today got me to look at advanced search and I was delighted to see the changes.

I love the groupings and the bolding of each group header. It is MUCH faster now for me to locate what forum(s) I want to search in. I mostly do advanced searches, and usually in specific forums, so the clutter of that page has bothered me for a long time. Plus, my aging eyes had trouble with the small font. This is a wonderful improvement. :)

One question though. I just did an advanced search and chose "older" button. Ordered by date, the search went from June 15, 2005 to 2001. I didn't realize "recent" now goes back approximately 18 months? So, if I am looking for posts in the last 18 months, I should choose the "search recent" button instead of "older" button?

Advanced search is excellent now. Fast, accurate and I really like that I can sort it in three ways and resort after receiving results. That is very helpful.
--
"If you want to do DRM on a PC then you need to treat the user as the enemy."
