How to upgrade Zywall firmware safely. In addition to Brano’s recomendation to reset factor defaults and reconfigure from scratch after the upgrade -

Download a copy of the firmware you are currently running if you don’t have one.
Save your current configuration.

If you have problems with the new firmware you can then restore everything in a few minutes.

I always do a soft reboot of the router, before loading new firmware (clears caches etc). Load the firmware and then reset to default configuration (same as loading rom file).
