| rental? so, am I missing something here? why not go the subscription route? If I could do $10/month for unlimited on demand renting of movies, THAT would be worth it. Screw paying for a tv show, I did that ONCE for a missed BSG episode on iTunes and felt HORRIBLY ripped off for the $2 since the quality was so pathetic.
Still, at least they're thinking of good uses for the media aspects finally. Now, if they'd only offer a good deal instead of overpriced garbage, it might be worth it. I'd much rather have "rented" movies be as unlimited as possible at fair quality. Sure, they could do HD pay per view, or something, but I'd like to see SD (GOOD quality MPEG-4) have a good bang for the buck.
..the 360 is lookin' cooler all the time, but I'm still awaiting a Nintendo... and I'll probably have BOTH before even considering a ps3!!! |
