Re: Comcast of NJ II Channel Line-Up Are you suggesting that the decision came down from NBC and not from Comcast? That possibility never occurred to me.
I know Cablevision serves a few NJ towns in the Philly DMA (Robbinsville, for example). If the policy we're talking about to place these stations on a digital-only tier was issued by NBC, I would think it would apply to Cablevision systems as well as Comcast systems. No?
As far as me having taken this or any other topic up with Comcast's marketing department, PLEASE give me the correct contact info as I have many things I'd love to "discuss" with them. This is only the tip of the iceberg! |

When it comes time for NBC to negotiate with Cablevision, you may see the same type of deal come to fruition. You may also see the same thing happen with Cablevision's Ocean systems.
As for contacting your local marketing department, the best bet is to find the administrative number for your system in the white pages of your phone book. If you want, you can call the admin number for Comcsat of NJ (732-602-7444) and ask for the marketing department there. Someone there should be able to either answer your questions or point you in the right direction. |
