Re: Very noticeable speed increase on downloads 10 MB in size I'm noticing a 3x to 4x performance boost for the first 30 megs.
USENET: 3x boost
FTP: 4x boost (command line linux)
FTP seems faster. 25mbit/sec for the first 15 megs. and then it goes back to line speed (6 mbit/sec)
