[TV] Is Verizon getting the NBA TV and/or NBA League Pass?

theaccuser9 : We're building a new home in a new community in Wylie, TX
and are scheduled to get the keys on December 15th. The only thing stopping me from signing up for Verizon FIOS TV at my new house is that they don't offer the NBA TV channel or the NBA League Pass. This is so frustrating. DirecTV offers it along with Time Warner Cable which are my other two options. I am signing up the 15/2 internet service, which I am hoping will be upgraded in the area to 20/5.

Has anyone here heard any rumors about Verizon adding NBA TV and/or NBA League Pass?

I did search the forums, but all of the threads were old...so it seemed like they wanted a new one started. So here it is :D

Is there some kind of petition we can start? Does anyone have the email address or phone number to some folks at Verizon that we can bug about this?
