| Blame the Movie Studios for the silly restrictions Unfortunately the Movie Studios consider Online Video Rentals to be like Pay Per View and enforce similar rules as PPV has that is a 24\Hour Viewing window within 30 days .
The Cable companies and big box retailers dont want them to change the rules regarding Online downloads in what ever form and as for subscriptions Starz paid the studios $1 Billion for the exclusive rights to offer unlimited movie subscriptions till 2012 .
So Microsoft coming late to the party with a X box 360 Movie service has less bargaining power and has to work within the Studios current rules ... |
