Re: Chip Redesign From what I understand, the redesigned chip will be smaller (cheaper, built on a 65 nm process rather than 90) and likely faster (although games won't take advantage of that or else old systems would not work well with new games). The new 360 hardware will basically be the finished version that, I imagine, a lot of people would prefer over the somewhat hot/buggy version out right now. |
