Finally got tired of him not taking care of the problem so she took him to court. Said she knew it was him because she recognized his voice.
Two problems. 1. He only did CW (you know, di-dahs's and not voice). 2. The transmitter was still in a box at his mother's house.
While I do not agree with the lack of harm on wifi and other radiation sources, I also do not believe that an adult (babies are a different subject) will see any affects of that type of exposure (excluding cell phones) for many many years unless they carry the thing next to the body 24-7.
Heck, as some people pointed out, CELL PHONES put out signals too that can be in that range. Does walking into a store with all the losers who can't put down the phone for one second cause the same problem?
And before everyone jumps on this with the poo-poo comments, just remember...At one time the medical profession considered HEROIN a miracle drug that was THE cure for many illnesses and problems (and how many people here use it today? Probably less than 1%.) Also, in the early days of radio, exposure to RF was thought be a non-issue, yet that turned out to not be true, hence we have exposure limits. For things like this that are relatively new (continuous long term exposure of a constant low level V/U/SHF signal in a residential environment) we are just guinea pigs for the industry, maybe we win, maybe we lose, time will tell. -- I am not lost, I find myself every time. |
