 retiredat44North San Diego County join:2002-08-13 Vista, CA | Time Warner and DVR, finding more ways to piss customers off I have been eagerly awaiting to use their DVR and am now angry that they found another way to shaft users. Here in California, I am the member of a class action lawsuit against these nincompoops. It looks like their mangaement are fools and need to be fired.

DVR service is provided by a special cable box with a hard drive inside. It allows customers to record the shows they would like on a schedule they choose. It's available at an extra cost.
Start Over is a VOD type service that allows any customers with a cable box to restart select shows they may have been late to see. It doesn't involve the customer prescheduling anything. This service is currently free.
The services are separate and unrelated.
