Don't assume that everyone has the time or knowledge to rip a DVD, transcode it and load it onto their PMP.

I do get what you are saying though, neither Apple nor Wal-mart can support this officially since it just opens them up to more lawsuits thanks to the DMCA. What was laughable was how the industry representative said a still from the movie is just as good and there was no need to use video aka moving pictures!!
