Re: There is no competition here

"We get 3/350 in my area, Vista, North San Diego County. After the Adelphia to TW/RR changeover. RoadRunner says 'they only have 4/384 in my area'. 'The Area Speeds are fixed'. Period."

As you have been told on many occasions, once the dust has settled on the Adelphia Migration the areas will be bought into line with standard RR speeds.

There is no reason why You could not go out and start up a cable company in your area to compete with TWC. Just a clue...its very expensive to start one and as many have discovered even harder to take away established customers. good luck with it though.

TW EmployE

@rr.com

In Vista, (formally Adelphia) you guy were receiving those download speeds for a reason.Adelphia;s platform was never upgraded.We are in that area laying fiber as we speak(or you complain) I work for the TW San Diego Div. and you will be receiving the same speeds as San Diego,Palm Springs,and Beaumont.Do you actually think you're speed was going to change overnight? Look at you're TV,you're channels are still the same w/ Adelphia.We finished laying fiber in Del Mar,Escondido,and Solana Beach.I guarantee you by Jan. 07 you will have been switched the TW System.Also well be launching the phone in you're area once the upgrade is completed.
