CenturyLink → How do I change my ip address?

Thanks guys, but this is no longer needed. I called again today, and demanded I talk to someone other than tech support. I talked to someone, and they helped me put my modem into bridge mode, and helped me change the ip address.

I had my modem off for about 3 days over the Thanksgiving holiday. I got the same IP when I turned it back on. I don't know how many people have DSL in this area but it is a residential area, and most of the houses or 180K+ so I'd only imagine about half have DSL and the other half have cable.
