Schenectady, NY | Did any of you read the article? It isn't just a big plug for McAfee products, just a rational (and frankly realistic) appraisal of what to expect for the next 12 months. It also has some good supporting information.
So before the smug gits here start going "yeah yeah yeah" they could at least take the trouble to read more than the headline.
McAfee and their ilk aren't inventing things like SMiShing, they are identifying them and letting us know so we can take steps to protect ourselves - with our without their help.

It isn't a plug just like making a "prediction" that in Boston it will snow sometime within the next 6 months so, therefore everyone should run right out NOW and buy a shovel.
