This requires a closed-source client. Cohen could have made a closed version of his own client, but uTorrent may have a better feature-to-size ratio, and it's already popular.<br><br>Although uTorrent has been very popular for its low resource use, efficiency and performance, a minority in the BT community have always mistrusted the closed-source clients. Apart from DRM, possible sabotages could include reporting of user activities, and/or a kill switch. A similar issue came up before when Strigeus made a deal with some organization associated with anti-p2p activities.<br><br>Reportedly negative comments on this event are being deleted at the uTorrent forum.<br><br>The current version of uTorrent is 1.6. oldversion.com has previous versions.]]></description>
