What Microsoft and HP both want, is the ability to collect and store any information THEY want. The so called 'laws' are nothing more than the megacorps end run around state privacy laws. Guess what, I don't WANT microsoft to store any info about me. And in MY state at least, I am assured of that right through state laws.
