At $.002 (two thousandths of a dollar) you would need 100 units to equal $.20, 2/10 of a dollar, or 20 cents.

At .002 cents (two thousandths of a cent) you would need 10,000 units to equal $.20, 2/10 of a dollar, or 20 cents. (or 50,000 to equal 100 cents or 1.00 dollar)

.2 = 2 tenths
.02 = 2 hundredths
.002 = 2 thousandths

Be careful not to mix up your units of measure when calculating.
