I was just going to put my two cents in...

...but looks like I'm late, and everyone has done the math already.

This is an interesting sociological test. Give this math test to 1,000 professional, educated people and see what happens.

Does anyone really measure downloads in kB anymore? Wouldn't $2 per MB make much more sense?

$2000 per GB. Now that would stop DVD piracy.

it would sound too expensive, something that will be a lot harder for marketing to sell to the public.

Re: I was just going to put my two cents in...

I suppose everyone would be really confused if the price was quoted in milles.

A mill is 1/1000th of a dollar, or $0.001, so the correct price should be "2 mills per kilobyte".

$0.001 = 1 mille
$0.00002 = .02 milles

But it's till not a small enough unit to avoid confusion, especially with the guys at Verizon.

and because of the confusion they would have to add: Your millage may vary!
