Wrong or not, I'd say it's a small oversight that will be corrected with a small correction to the TOS contract.

Whether or not the manger made an error interpreting the amount, he said the right thing. Can you image if HE told the user that it was wrong? Verizon would be pissed I'm sure.

The end user will get screwed as usual.
(I've seen this before on my statement, but I still get a kick on 'one way' errors. My credit card says something to the effect of having 30days to tell them of an error, or else the statement is correct.... unless the error is a wrongful credit. (go figure)...
